Pyurca, we bought her in May 2005 in Menorca. After a stay of 7 months at a friend’s stud farm on the island, she travelled to the Netherlands in January 2006, together with Palonia, Ploma, Puruga and Obrador. In Menorca she grew up in a herd together with Palonia EB and Puruga EB. Pyurca is a barocque type, with a strong build and enough bone structure. She has superb gaits and her trot is lofty and very spacious. She is a very quiet mare, but still a little shy. We don’t ride her and is only used for breeding purposes , but she is very easy to handle. As Broodmare she is highly valuable; her foals inherit her clear movements and build, especially the neck is clearly recognizable in all her foals.
